Austin, TX — TODAY, Democrat Lt. Governor Nominee, Mike Collier proudly accepts the endorsement of the Texas State Association of Fire Fighters. This endorsement was approved by the TSAFF Executive Board which represents over 18,000 professional Fire Fighters, the largest organization of Fire Fighters in the State of Texas.
“I am honored that the Texas State Association of Fire Fighters has decided to endorse my campaign to unseat Dan Patrick as Texas’ next Lt. Governor,” Collier said. “The TSAFF represents some of the bravest Texans in our great state. Having their backing in this race is just one example of how everyday Texans are supporting my campaign to win in November.”
The TSAFF endorsement is just the latest example of support Collier has received from a wide array of groups and associations in Texas. In the Democratic Primary, Collier was endorsed by every large endorsing newspaper in the state, Tejano Democrats, Texas State Teachers Association, American Federation of Teachers, AFL-CIO of Texas, as well as several other organizations. Upon winning the nomination, Collier was also endorsed by Republican Lt. Governor Primary candidate, Scott Milder.
